“Large corporates have to look at the startup world”, says Rick Belluzzo

In Naples, at the SEP Matching Event, Rick Belluzzo, former President and COO of Microsoft, asked about what’s in startup matching for large corporations, says: “A marriage – such as what are you trying to do with Startup Europe Partnership – is very powerful. It is sad but true that large companies are having difficult times innovating. Now that I have taken a step back, I have to recognize that large corporates have to look at the startup world. Big companies have tremendous distribution capabilities. So having a connection with startups is so valuable. Corporates have to accept innovation coming from smaller companies, even when they have internal teams.”
