Bruegel Workshop with Onetti (SEP) on Dec 2nd in Brussels
Alberto Onetti, Chairman of Mind the Bridge Foundation and Coordinator of Startup Europe Partnership, has been invited to speak at Workshop “Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in Europe” in Brussels on December 2nd. The Workshop, organized by Bruegel, the Brussels-based think tank, aims at highlighting some of the barriers to the creation and growth of scaleups in Europe and identifying concrete steps that policy makers can take to facilitate the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems in Europe as well as models for collaborative innovation, which in turn can spur more high growth entrepreneurship.
Onetti will present SEP activities and results during the Session “Collaborative Innovation: Facilitating links between large and small firms” moderated by Nicholas Davis, Director, Head of Europe, World Economic Forum. Goal of the session is to explore the practical strategies employed by young firms, large companies and supporting stakeholders in helping such collaborations bear fruit for both the players themselves and the economy at large. Alberto Onetti will discuss togheter with Christian Umbach, creator of the Lufthansa Innovation Hub, Audrey Scozzaro Ferrazzini, Senior Manager, Government Affairs Europe, Qualcomm, James Eshelby, Head of European R&D Business Development, Pfizer and Daniela Terminel, Vice President EMEA, Endeavor.
